Steven Saxton has been involved with film, music and fashion for the past 30 years. Mr. Saxton has worked as a Producer, Manager, Agent, Distributor, and Financier in the Entertainment Industry. Mr. Saxton has served as the founder, CEO and chairman of Hollywood Studios, Hollywood Studios Asia, Artist International (AI), and Models International (MI).

Film

Mr. Saxton has Executive Produced or co-financed 47 films including Lone Survivor (2 Oscar Nom’s), 2 Guns, The Kids Are All Right (4 Oscar Nom’s, 2 Golden Globe Wins, Best Picture, Best Actress), Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (4 Oscar Wins and 7 Oscar Nom’s), Good Morning Vietnam (1 Oscar Nom), Zero Hour (Highest grossing film in Venezuelan History) and Honey I Shrunk The Kids which have grossed over $1.5+ Billion worldwide.

Mr. Saxton Executive Produced the critically acclaimed, breakout film The Kids Are All Right, starring Annette Bening, Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, Mia Wasikowska and Josh Hutcherson. Produced on a modest $4.4M budget, the film went on to gross $30M at the worldwide box office and has enjoyed 107 nominations and 33 wins, including Best Picture and Best Actress wins at the Golden Globes and 4 Oscar nominations.

Following the success of The Kids Are All Right, Mr. Saxton Executive Produced Lone Survivor, starring Mark Wahlberg and 2 Guns, starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg. Lone Survivor, based on the New York Times Best Seller is currently grossing $150M+ worldwide and received Oscar Nominations for Best Sound Editing as well as Best Sound Mixing. 2 Guns gave Universal its seventh No. 1 opening in 2013 while grossing $130M+ in the worldwide box office.

Mr. Saxton has worked on the Paramount Studios lot as an Executive Producer via a first look deal. He helped secure financing for 20 Disney films as part of Silver Screen Partners III including Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Good Morning Vietnam, Three Men and a Baby and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.

Representation/TV

Mr. Saxton founded Artist International (AI), which focuses on representing writers, directors and actors. AI has represented clients that include, but are not limited to Adam Milch, creator of ABC Family’s Twisted, Jim Manos, creator of Showtime’s Dexter and other writers, creators and talent of hit shows such as Sleepy Hollow, The Newsroom, Sons of Anarchy, Parenthood, Community, Grimm, The Vampire Diaries, Desperate Housewives, Nurse Jackie, House of Lies, Shameless, The Sopranos, The OC, How I Met Your Mother, Law and Order, NCIS: LA as well as serving as the Production Company for The Kids Are Alright.

Fashion

Models International is an agency that has represented high profile fashion, commercial and print models for the LA market and internationally.

Music

Mr. Saxton was a highly regarded music executive, having worked with the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Eddie Van Halen, Slash, Edgar Winter, Steve Vigh, Les Brown and his Band of Renown, Lou Raw, Steve Lukather, 69 Boys, Horace Silver, Taylor Eigsti, and many others. Mr. Saxton founded Bop City Records and during that time worked with legendary recording engineers including Al Schmitt (19 Grammys and 2 Latin Grammys), Ed Cherney (3 Grammys and 6 Grammy nominations), and Elliot Scheiner (7 Grammys, 24 Grammy nominations, and 4 Emmy Nominations).

Investment Banking – Corporate – Personal

Prior to transitioning into the entertainment sector, Mr. Saxton was a President of Texca Petroleum Oil and Gas Operating Company, former Vice President at NASD broker/dealer for 21st Century Securities, as well as a Commodities Broker for a boutique Commodities firm. In 2004, Mr. Saxton was inducted as a Knight by the Knights of Malta Coptic Catholic. Sir Steven Saxton’s nomination has been endorsed by Grand Master H.S.H Prince Antonio Ruspoli, approved by Cardinal Stephanos II, Patriarch of Alexandria, blessed by his eminence, Pope John Paul II and is on record at the Vatican in Rome.
