Precious Cargo – Steven Saxton Signs on as Executive Producer

Los Angeles, CA (3/12/15), Precious Cargo will be directed by Max Adams and based on Adams’ 2008 short film of the same name, about a man committed to reconnect with his pregnant ex-girlfriend — a woman who is “as manipulative as she is beautiful” and who leads him into a world of bullets and bad guys. Willis will play a crime boss named Eddie who is determined to get his hands on the spoils of another criminal’s heist, according to the Deadline report.

The project is being spearheaded by producers Randall Emmett (Lone Survivor, End of Watch, Escape Plan), George Furla (Lone Survivor, End of Watch, Escape Plan) and Steven Saxton (Lone Survivor, 2 Guns, The Kids Are All Right) while being distributed by Grindstone/Lionsgate.

It will mark Adams’ feature directing debut, although it’s not the first time he has worked with Emmett and Furla. Adams earned a writing credit on their Mobile-shot “Bus 657,” a forthcoming crime drama starring Robert De Niro, Dave Bautista and Kate Bosworth; and he earned both writing and co-producing credits on “Extraction.”
